Intern
Intern
Brother C.J. Chatham likes to play hard with all of his expensive boats and other toys. He can afford them since he has been a stock broker and Wall Street whiz for many years. He may have been an intern at one time or learn the ropes working OTJ, but he has worked with a number of people wanting to eventually replace him, and these types are called interns
Intern
What is your logo, man?
Do you have a brand, and
Can you sell your plan?
How many are Facebook fans?
Is this a job you can land?
Do you idea sink in the sand?
When will you make a stand?
Will you voice be heard
Above the rest of the band?
Give me a reason why I
Should lend you a hand.
The Lambda Sigma Chi’s, though unofficial, are really a bunch of great guys who, among other things in common, like to write, and write mostly poems. In the past, I have submitted romantic poems about what it means to stay single. As a parting work, I’d like people to know I work hard, too and expect as much of myself as I do other people I work with. This is how ‘Intern” came to be, and I’m glad to have a chance to get a different kind of poem before regular posts of The World of Words by Elias Tobias changes operating formats. I like what E.T. has done over the 13 years so far, and after a break, who knows that will happen.
