pen-art.jpgGraduated from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, with Bachelor’s Degree in photojournalism in 1979.

pen-art.jpgGraduated from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, with Master’s Degree in photojournalism in 1983.

pen-art.jpgStarted two-year Teachers License program at Ball State University, and finished 1991.

pen-art.jpgDecided to use Elias Tobias as a pen name in 1991 and started Ball State Literary Foundation, a computerized on-line poetry and short story magazine on the university computer system.

pen-art.jpgStarted as English teacher with Brownsville ISD in 1991.

pen-art.jpgLeft Texas in September 2007, to move to Indianapolis, Indiana, where his wife had a job change through a company transfer.  He works now as an adjunct English instructor for Ivy Tech Community College and as a Direct Support Professional for Indiana Mentor.
