Everything in life contains its opposite
When you think something’s at its end,
You have just begun to start.
There are times when you have to part,
But then there’s someplace to go.
And when there is something you
Should know, you could possibly forget.
If you lose a friend along life’s path,
You can always find another, I bet.
A law of nature states what goes up
Must eventually come down, and
We all know a smile is the mere
Opposite of a sad frown.
It’s not unusual for love to turn to hate,
And if you can be prompt, changes are
That somehow, you are going to be late.
If the dark was not so dark, then the
Light would not be so bright.
The kite seems free in the winds,
But the string controls its flight.
Everything in life contains its opposite.
