Larry the Snowman brought a cold front from Texas and between 12 to 13 inches of snow was dumped in Indianapolis, setting a record as the sixth largest snowfall in the city, the most in 13 years. Snow shovels were put to use to dig out cars for those who needed to go to work, however many schools and businesses were closed allowing a playday, enough for Larry to move to Central Indiana.
