Back where I belong
Back where I belong
Hey, we knew changes were coming,
and instead of a cubicle, I use our car.
Somehow we both knew that office
position wouldn’t take me very far.
Now all week long I’m on the road,
while I wish I could be next to you.
I realize in my heart I’m not alone
as I travel and do what I have to do.
I try to follow a changing schedule,
and it’s hard to keep days on track.
But I know at the end of the week,
I’ll be at home, back where I belong.
