Person in the Picture
Person in the Picture
On April 21, 2013, my wife and I went to the Indianapolis Indians game. It was in the mid 50’s, but we were dressed for the event. I used the time to get this portrait or caricature by Bob East (Caricatures@BobEast.com), the official Indians artist. The team’s fan photographer took of picture of the artist at work, but I can’t show it due to copyright restrictions. However, you can go to www.indyindians.com, click on the “Fan Photo” icon in the “Stay Connected” tab in the center of the homepage to view this shot. Go to the April 21, 2013 albums, and the PNC plaza album. This is easier. Click on the image above to get the full portrait to download for free. By the way, the Indians beat the Louisville Bats, 2-1 that day.
Person in the Picture
I’m trying to be the person in my picture,
But it was taken in a different time and place.
I brushed my hair, and washed my face
But I wonder about the rest of me.
I’m trying to be the person in my picture.
Like a good scout, I’ll do my best,
But the question is today can I pass the test,
And will I be like this the rest of my days?
I’m trying to be the person in my picture.
I wonder where that person went, after
all the money for food and clothes was spent?
At least I have enough to pay bills and rent.
Who is Elias Tobias? Go to his biography that is also in Spanish.
Wonderful work! This is the kind of information that should be shared across the net.
Disgrace on Google for no longer positioning this put up higher!
Come on over and visit my website . Thank you =)
