A line of tornados that swept through the Midwestern and southern U.S. March 2, 2012 was responsible for at least 37 deaths across four states. Ohio, Alabama, Kentucky and Indiana were hit with raging thunderstorms that created tornadoes that wiped out entire towns. Among the most devastated areas was southern Indiana, where a strong twister led to extreme damage. Henryville, a town of about 2,000 people, was devastated, causing massive damage and killed at least one person in the town. The high school was destroyed. Late this year, Lady Antebellum played at a mini-prom for Henryville, Ind. on May 16 at Louisville. Lady Antebellum helped raise $235,000 to help rebuild the town struck by a tornado. The town has started to rebuild, home by home, and much of the debris has been cleared. Still evidence remains of property that is being cleared as lives of the community are under construction.
