A Special Love
There is a love that dwells
deep within a caring heart.
There’s an understanding
the two people can’t part
Common trust and security
creates a sense of peace, and
this feeling lasts even when
someone does leave.
This love is constant and
changing as it grows.
This relationship is so special
only two souls can know.

The way of the wheeel is naturally geometric –
ready to roll.
You can turn it,
or it can roll over you
Gravity is the force which
makes it roll down the hill
but you havean
obligation to fulfill.
You have to push it to
the top of the of hill
The way of the wheel is
naturally geometric-
-ready to roll.
Unconditionally
You love me only for what you see
Not the kind of person I used to be.
This kind of respect is important to me.
This is the kind of love that sets me free.

I’m Not Falling in Love with You
In my search for relationships, the concept of “just friends” came up quite often, to my discouragement. I often wondered how a person feels who says that, and in this poem, I tried to see this point of view- from the woman’s eye. That is the part a writer takes, especially in short stories or novels, where characters are created to fit the plot. I have left out the settings, names and details to protect the innocent.
I’m Not Falling in Love with You
I like the way you smile, and
the times you linger just a while longer.
I like the little favors you do for me,
but there’s more to come I believe.
I wait for the special times we talk,
and I treasure the times we walk together.
I know when you look at my body,
your eyes reveal some fantasy.
All these things are true, but I don’t
want to give the wrong impression.
I’m sure we can say we’re friends,
and I’m not falling in love with you.
There is someone in my life who
can predict my every thought and move.
I have pledged my heart to another,
and he is the one who is my lover.
I don’t want you to feel like a fool.
I’m sure we can stay friends,
and I’m not falling in love with you.
The Reason Why
I feel your love so naturally,
it seems like you are the only
love I have ever had.
and it makes me sad when I
think of all the times spent
searching for your love.
I will love you the rest of my life.
That is why I asked you to be my wife.

Endless Love
Without your love,
my life would be nothing,
and i would simply exist
day by day until by some
miracle I should die.

Motion
You are poetry in motion.
I can tell by the sounds
you speak, the movements
you make, the thoughts
you feel.
You are the love of my live,
my wife.

Love Poem 186
Your love is the key which
opens the door to my heart.
I want you to touch me,
and don’t want us to part.
The smile in your eyes told
me you were the one.
Many changes in me are new,
and my life has just begun.

Again
I think I’m falling in love with you again.
This wasn’t part of the plan.
When we were together last,
we just wanted to be apart.
But that’s all in the past and
you have taken my heart.
I think I’m falling in love with you again.
I think I’m falling in love with you again.
This is our date with destiny.
Even with out differences, we
can make it work together.
We can go beyond appearances,
and we can make this time better.
I think I’m falling in love with you again.

My wife and I had a craft business a while back, and and as part of that business, Check Points Specialty Sales, I created a series of post cards which had love poems. The copyrighted series with lips as part of the logo was called Love Notes. This was in 1995. I picked 26 poems for the original collection. By 2002, I expanded the Loves Notes into a book, set from a brochure program I had. Together a story of love from different points of view is told.
Love Poem 2010
My love for you is free.
All you have to do is love me.
Hold my hand and show me you care.
What ever happens, I’ll be there.
