Salt and Pepper (The Anniversary Poem)
Together we are better,
just like salt and pepper.
They say opposites attract,
but it’s really just an act
because it’s the chemistry
we have between you and me
that makes the spice of life.
I’m glad you’re my wife.
As we celebrate our
first ten years,
we face the future
without any fears.
I know that you will always
be my best friend,
and that our love will
last to the end.
