Different Cloth
Different Cloth
You and I are cut from a different cloth,
One that is rarely found in this world.
The colors may not be bright, but they
Are true and will not fade as it is washed
In the troubled waters of problems by people,
of the people and for the people we meet.
Garments made from this cloth are strong
And may not remain in the fashion of the day,
For they are either ahead or behind the times,
Depending of the position on the wheel of fate.
You and I are cut from a different cloth,
And I’d like to meet the weaver of this cloth.
