Love’s Only a Game

A poem by Brother Levi Jacobs

Love’s Only a Game

I’ll leave it all up to you.
I’ll do what you say.
You make the decision.
It’s better that way.
We used to be special,
but now, nothing is the same.
It thought it would be forever,
But for you, love’s only a game.

I’ll leave it all up to you.
I would like you to stay.
I could forgive you.
We can start over today.

We used to be special,
but now, nothing is the same.
It thought it would be forever,
But for you, love’s only a game.

I’ll leave it all up to you.
We were one of a kind.
Feelings have gone now,
You need to draw the line.

We used to be special,
but now, nothing is the same.
It thought it would be forever,
But for you, love’s only a game.
