Da grill is gone

Da grill is gone

Da grill is gone, oh, da grill is gone
It’s not hea no mo, da grill is gone.
We has ourselves some barbeques,
Eat some chicken and drink some beers,
An then the boys played the blues,
But now, da grill is gone.

Da grill is gone, oh, da grill is gone
It’s not hea no mo, da grill is gone.
We gots the coals to glow red hot.
People came smiles on their faces,
A sweet sauce covered da food,
A secret recipe I tell you not.
But now, da grill is gone.

Some ole thief took it from the back yard.
The familys takenit pretty dern hard.
Our friends don’t come to visit no mo.
They say git a new one from the stor,
But I made the last one from scratch,
And it built like the Titanic, to last.
Da grill is gone, oh, da grill is gone
It’s not hea no mo, da grill is gone.
