Around and Around

I need to get up and convince
myself tomorrow will be a better
day and that things can’t stay the
way they have been.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned
so far, there are always changes;
some for the good, some for bad,
some happy, some sad, but there
are always changes. This
old world keeps on turning around,
and around and around, and
sometimes I wish it would stop
long enough to get myself together.
I need to get up and convince
myself tomorrow will be a better day.
