Woman Child

The Rolling Stones had a hit song, “RubyTuesday”  about a female whose games did not probably include Monopoly, but in a sense was skilled with a segments of The Game of Life. Brother Karl Dobson describes a person like her whom he knew in his past.
Woman Child

There’s a child trapped
in your body of a woman
who wants to be free
of adult responsibility.
Love is just a silly game
you play day to day.
Rules are made your way,
or lovers are forgotten yesterday.
There’s a cost for what you
are doing, and you will have to pay
with pain and hurt feelings that will
stay for a long, long time.
